Busy Randomness

Sorry folks, I've been pretty busy lately. I'm still working on my pictures, you'll notice I've started posting them back up at Through Frigga's Eyes. But my guilt doesn't allow me to go without posting something more substantial than the meager posts that I've written this week. In lieu of something really more substantial, I give you a few tidbits of randomness:

• I dreamt of roller coasters last night. I don't remember much, just being scared, and there were roller coasters around. Or I was on one. Or under one.
• Have you ever heard of a Maid of Honor being told she's not allowed to invite a guest?
• Sometimes, even when you're an adult, Mommy really can make everything all better.
• Having to shave my legs with cold water makes me cold and grumpy all day. Even when it's National Grump Out Day and people are suppose to have a pleasant attitude all day, I'm too grumpy to care.
• I've transitioned from simply not liking our Receptionist, to full blown waiting for the day when she's no longer here. To make that long story short, she makes mistakes, lots of them. Then I have to fix them and when I try to ask her about it to help me go about fixing it, she's all about pointing the finger anywhere but towards herself. Oh, and usually I'm the one who deals with the customer, so I get them yelling at me, and to be the good "people" person I am, I take the blame and apologize and then fix it. I hate taking the blame for stuff I didn't do. :(

MySpace Strikes Again

That was from Big Red. You met her, briefly, in my 100 Things About MeMe post, and again in the I'll Pay For The Gas series. That series was the beginning of the end of our friendship. Now I don't know what to do.

On the one hand we used to be best friends, she meant a lot to me. On the other hand, I hear, "DANGER Will Robinson DANGER!" shouting at me in the back of my head. Which is crazy because I don't even know where that reference comes from...

So, my options are:

1. Call her and forget all past hurts. It's a clean slate and we're both different people now.
   
2. Write her a polite note saying, "Thanks, but no thanks."

I don't like either of those options. I don't know if I'm ready to forget. I don't want to close the door to our friendship forever. I think I always knew we would re-connect. I just thought I would be ready for it when it happened. I'm just not ready.

What should I do? What would you do?

But I felt the need to mention how I've been a bumbling idiot everytime Bear is around. My face is still red from embarrassment from our last convo. It was no big deal, but I can be such a doofus.
